Class Memories From 1968

While I did not participate in HS, I really enjoyed the musical productions. I finally got involved as an adult. My first was in Minoti's Opereta "Amahl and the night visitors". Later I was drama director and script writer for 15 years for a local production of "The Life of Christ in Living Pictures". I would love to go back and re-do HS with different priorities.

I only attended Whitehaven for two years, my junior and senior years. While I played football and ran track, I never felt like I belonged because I was not a 12 year senior like some others. I do remember, however that many of my classmates were very kind to me in spite of my sometimes crude behavior. Thank you for your friendship.

While not the greatest, I enjoyed being a part of the track team. I ran the hurdles and on a couple of the relays. We had a fairly good team in those days.

I only played football for Whitehave two years because I transferred in. However, I enjoyed coach Elmer Ray and his staff. We were a winning team with a great team spirit.
